This page is for brain storming on how UDL, AT, and other production technologies can assist in engaing students at different levels of Webb's Depth of Knowledge.
Activities require the recall of information such as a fact, a definition, following steps in a simple procedure, performing simple calculations, applying a formula, and making measurements. A student answering a Level 1 question either knows the answer or they do not.
Level 2 – Skill/Concept
Activities require connecting recalled information and making some decisions about problem solving or procedures. Level 2 activities require students to interpret and develop relationships between concepts.
Level 3 — Strategic Thinking
Activities require connecting recalled information and making somedecisions about problem solving or procedures. Level 2 activities require students to interpret and develop relationships between concepts.
Level 4- ExtendedThinking
Questions require complex reasoning, planning, developing most likely over an extended period of time. (The extended time is not a distinguishing factor if the work is repetitive and does not require applying significant conceptual understanding and higher-order thinking)

From Shari Hill: Another possible resource to consider for information gathering "Using Technology withe Classroom Instruction that Works," Pitler, Hubbell, Kuhn, Malenoski (forward by Marzano - where he talks about Blooms taxonomy as Cognitive Processes and describes how technology can potentially play a role especially supporting the cognitive system by helping students to comprehend, apply and recall concepts) The book was published by McREL. Here is a matrix from the book that integrates the 4 Planning Questions (where we should always start), the 9 Categories of Instructional Strategies, and the 7 Categories of Technology -
